Jen Foley is a strategy-driven product leader. In a prior life, she helped start-ups and enterprise companies figure out better processes for building software. She is a leading Agile and Lean advocate, with a focus on user research and user needs. Before founding Ballast, Jen developed a strong consulting background focused in the tech industry, working with both established and fast growing organizations. Jen’s career decisions have always been infused with technology whether it was Sarbanes-Oxley auditing for Ernst & Young, developing an automated clearance center for Joss & Main’s returned merchandise or changing the way tv ads are bought and sold.

​Jen has a bachelors from Boston College in Marketing and Information Systems and an MBA focusing on technology and innovation. She’s a lifelong Bostonian and proponent of using technology to make life easier.
